The introduction by the EU of the RoHS Directive - 2002/95/EC concerning
the Restrictions of use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical
and electronic equipment, and the associated WEEE Directive – 2002/96/EC
relating to Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, has been addressed
by ELMA-Mektron and has resulted in the development of a procedure defining
how the company manages the requirements of the RoHS and WEEE Directives.
This procedure defines how ELMA-Mektron intends to implement both Directives
in relation to the product which is designed, manufactured and supplied
by the company.
Please access this procedure via the PDF link on our website, to gain
an understanding of how these Directives impact on both purchased and
customer product.
The document also contains the company’s two specific Policy Statements
