A secondary benefit is the reduction in the required number of fasteners to secure the two material faces together, thus allowing easy access for maintenance purposes. This is achieved as the 'Crush-Fold' itself provides the mechanical strength while the fasteners are only required to hold the panels into place in relation to each other.
